Since its inception in 2003, the volunteers of the Fort Worden Oral History Program have collected more than 300 interviews with the men and women who have served, lived, worked, or visited Fort Worden over its long history. In 2012, the Fort Worden Oral History Program Blog was created in an effort to make information in the program’s archived collections more accessible to an online audience.

In early 2020 the complete files of the Fort Worden Oral History Program were transferred to the Jefferson County Historical Society (JCHS). The files will be catalogued and archived as part of their Oral History Collection and ultimately will be available for online access. Until such time that full access is available, for further information concerning the Fort Worden Oral History Program, please contact the JCHS.
