On February 18 we are leading a scotch broom pulling/cutting work party to finish up the broom between Battery Way West and Mule Barn Rd, and, if we have time, work on the area know as the "berm". Remember, Oregon State U recommends cutting broom 1/2" in diameter and over BELOW ground level and pulling the smaller stems.

We will provide coffee, tea and snacks at the parking area by the Artillery Hill gate on Battery Way beginning at 9:00 AM, with work starting at 9:30. Bring gloves, loppers and your Discovery Pass. Friends of Fort Worden stickers to those who attend!
