WHAT WE DO

Trail Team members Mitch, Terry and Will complete much needed trail steps upgrade.

Our organization exists largely on the support of generous volunteers and donors. In recent years, we have funded the installation of eco-friendly water bottle filling stations in the Commons and Building 200, and the installation of bicycle racks outside of Taps at the Guardhouse. Our volunteers provide quarterly guided nature walks, and our Trail Team provides over 1,000 hours each year maintaining Fort Worden’s trails and natural areas, including development and printing of the Fort Worden Trail Map and installing new trail signage.
