PROJECTS NEEDING YOUR FINANCIAL SUPPORT

The Friends have a variety of programs and projects that need your leadership and financial support:

  • Fund the continued engagement of licensed landscape contractors to complement our volunteers in support of our Habitat Restoration projects - $15,000

  • Fund the annual purchase of native plants, trees & shrubs to be planted in areas recently cleared of invasive plants – $12,000

  • Fund our multi-year Nix-the-Nox Project to remove poison hemlock and other toxic invasives - $4,000

  • Fund the annual purchase of seed and bulbs to establish a Wildflower Meadow in the recently cleared garbage dump area - $1,500

  • Fund the ongoing annual maintenance of the Rhody Garden (mulch, fertilizer and irrigation repair) - $1,500

  • Underwrite a one-year supply of Trail Maps for the park - $1,500
