Beach grass removal with the Washington Conservation Corps!

Meet at Knapp Loop (near the light house) whenever you’d like from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday, Nov. 3 through Thursday, Nov. 6.

Drive to Knapp Loop, look for workers, and help out for as long as you like. Stella Waxwing, Statewide Park Steward (and expert in all invasive plants) will be there leading the work and the dancing (yes, there’s dancing!). The young WCC workers are always a delight to work with.

Bring pitchforks, narrow shovels, gloves, water, Discover Pass, and dress for a day at the (possibly nasty, wet, windy) beach!
