Exhibitor Information

Fort Worden State Park & Conference Center will be hosting the Wildlife and Nature Art Exposition beginning Friday, October 9 through Sunday, October 11, 2009.

How to Apply: In order to participate in this annual event, we require that you have expertise and are an established painter, carver, sculptor or photographer. Those who wish to participate must submit the attached application, 8-10 images of the work you will be displaying either on a cd or photographs via email or post to C. Overman at , a short biography, and a $100 booth fee (remit to Friends of Fort Worden). You can request a double booth space for $200.

If You Are Accepted: Photos of your work will be used for marketing purposes to promote the Expo. Please submit images at a resolution of 200+ pixels per inch. Upon a jury review and approval, those selected artists will receive a confirmation packet with their booth space reserved. Submittal of the application does not guarantee space in the exposition. Your booth fee will be returned if your work is not accepted. Applications submitted without the fee will not be considered. Space is limited. Applications will be reviewed until space is full.

Set-up Information: Artists who are notified of acceptance must be prepared to set up artwork on Thursday, October 8, or Friday, October 9, before 3 p.m. All work must be removed by 11 a.m. Monday, October 12. You are obligated to stay set up until the end of the show on Sunday, October 11. There is no breakdown of booths prior to 6 p.m. The exposition times will be 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, October 9 for the opening reception, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, October 10, and Sunday, October 11.

Accommodations: Fort Worden State Park has a limited amount of housing on site for artists. Those interested in housing will be contacted for a deposit on the preferred accommodation. Standard cancellation policies apply. Accommodations at Fort Worden State Park are approximately $30-60/night and consist of segregated dormitory spaces and private rooms.
