Friends of Fort Worden volunteers operate the Park's Visitor Center and Gift Shop. Proceeds from merchandise sales are an important source of support for the Friends' park programs.
The former Guardhouse, Building 300, opened Memorial Day weekend 2000, as the official Visitor Center of Fort Worden. The building is operated by the Friends. Located at a central focal point of the park, the Old Guardhouse draws thousands of visitors and provides information about the park.
Visitor Center and Gift Shop hours vary throughout the year, but we are generally open by 10 a.m. seven days a week. You can reach us at (360) 344-4458. We accept credit cards, and can take your order over the phone and ship your selections to you.
